Je ne comprends pas ; il faudrait plus d'infos ; le fichier .cb, une capture d'écran de tes réglage dans Wrapper, une photo de ton montage sur la CN ; ça peut venir de beaucoup de chose, le 4ieme axe peut être tourné de 180° autour de l'axe d'alignement (par exemple, si aligné sur X, le mandrin peut être coté droit ou coté gauche), le sens de rotation de l'axe peut aussi être inversé dans Mach3 ... j'avoue que si je sais utiliser le plugin, je ne suis pas allé au delà de la simulation, je n'ai jamais gravé sur un cylindre avec ma CN (mon 4ime axe ne sert que très rarement !) je n'ai fait que de l'usinage 3D, soit du double face, soit un Gcode enroulé, mais ce devait être avec CNC Wrapper, pas avec le plugin.

bon, je ne vois pas ou est le pb au niveau du Gcode, l'usinage semble bien commencer du coté gauche de la pièce vu que la valeur X augmente constamment (0 à gauche, ++ vers la droite)

par contre je viens de faire un essais avec Wrapper, et le fait de cocher "inverser", n'inverse que le sens de rotation du mandrin, ça ne change rien pour l'autre axe.

à moins que je ne l'ai manqué, c'est le fichier CamBam (.cb) qui serait utile de façon à voir comment ton dessin est positionné avant enroulement.

PS: en principe quand on travail sur un 4axes, le 0 en Z se fait à l'axe de rotation, et "surface pièce" = le rayon. (et base Z = le rayon dans Wrapper)

si tu a bien ton X réglé pour avoir le 0 à gauche et le ++ à droite(*), alors la seule idée qui me viens, c'est que c'est ton mandrin qui ne tourne pas dans le bon sens ; essai d'inverser son sens de rotation dans Mach3 (dans Wrapper il me semble qu'il faut qu'il reste sur inverser)

En principe, si c'est OK sur l'afficheur de parcours de Mach3, ça doit être OK sur la machine, sauf inversion de sens moteur.

EDIT:
(*) attention, en fraisage quand on parle de déplacement à gauche ou à droite, on parle du déplacement de la fraise par rapport à la matière, pas du sens de déplacement de l'axe lui même. Sur une fraiseuse ou la broche se déplace et ou la table est fixe, un déplacement X en positif déplacera la broche vers la droite, mais dans le cas ou c'est la table qui est mobile et la broche qui est fixe (ou le cas d'un mandrin), comme sur tienne, la table devra se déplacer vers la gauche pour que la fraise se déplace vers la droite de la matière lorsque tu fait un déplacement X en positif

Dans ton cas, si tu regarde le mandrin depuis la droite, coté pièce, il faudrait qu'une rotation en A+ le fasse tourner dans le sens horaire, soit l'inverse de la flèche sur le dessin, vu que c'est le mandrin qui se déplace et non la fraise.

Après divers tests, sur le sens de rotation de l'axe, sans aboutir à la solution attendue. J'ai repris le réglage de l'ensemble de mes axes X et Y en particulier. En m'appuyant sur les fondamentaux que tu m'as gentiment rappeler. Et miracle du bon sens, tout fonctionne parfaitement.

Un grand merci à toi David pour tes réflexions lumineuses.

A ma décharge, j'ai particulièrement buté sur le réglage moteur de l'axe A.

- L'asservissement inutile avec l'axe Y
- La vitesse trop lente
- Le calibrage de l'axe en mm au lieu de degrés
- La gestion de visualisation du parcours d'outils par le toolpath mach3
- La déclaration du rayon dans l'écran Settings de mach3

Du coup, encore Merci à dh42 David.

Ah, celui la il est spécial, à cause d'un bug de Mach3.

pour que ça fonctionne il faut:

- Que "Use Radius for Feedrate" soit coché (dans Config/Toolpath)
- Il faut entrer une très faible valeur dans l'écran "settings" pour "Rotation Radius" pour le A ; par exemple 0.001 (si laissé à 0, ça désactive la fonction)

C'est ce qui permet de compenser la vitesse de rotation du mandrin en fonction du rayon afin de conserver une vitesse d'avance linéaire constante lorsque la fraise se rapproche du centre de rotation (plus le Ø usiné est petit, plus le mandrin doit tourner vite pour une même vitesse d'avance linéaire) ... attention, celà suppose que tu respecte la "norme", c.a.d. que tu travaille avec le 0 en Z à l'axe de rotation du mandrin et non au rayon de la pièce. J'ignore ce qui se passe si tu travaille avec le 0 au rayon, et que tu met la valeur du rayon dans la case ...

Ça ne précise pas le rayon de la pièce à usiner, mais le décalage entre le centre de rotation et le 0 en Z ... si j'ai bien compris.

Oui, la aussi c'est un bug, l'affichage indique tj des mm/min pour "velocity", même pour des axes rotatifs, mais c'est bien des °/min et non des mm/min, et pour le step per, c'est aussi des pas/°

Pour le calcul du step per et de de la V maxi de rotation, j'avais fait un tuto ou tu trouvera ce type d'infos (bon, c'est peut être un peu tard !) note que je parle d'une V de rotation maxi du moteur d'environ 450 tr/min, mais suivant ce que tu a comme moteur/système de pilotage, tu peux envisager des vitesses plus élevées, autour de 700 à 800 tr (pour ma part, en port // direct, je n'arrivais pas à faire tourner les moteurs au delà de 450 tr/min de manière fiable ; c'est réglé depuis grace à l'utilisation d'une carte d’interpolation ; un ESS de Warp9)

Ok, c'est bon à savoir, je ne savais pas que ça influençait la visu, et effectivement avec le rayon à 0 l'affichage ne correspond à rien ; donc je suppose que ça signifie que la compensation de vitesse doit fonctionner aussi avec le 0 au rayon ... je n'ai jamais pu la tester, mon axe est tellement lent (7 tr/min) que de toute façon, je n'arrive jamais à avoir la vitesse qu'il faudrait pour de l'usinage bois ...

Oui, c'est ce qui m'a toujours paru bizarre quand on travaille avec le 0 au centre et la valeur du rayon à 0.001 dans "rotation radius", je ne sais pas comment Mach3 détermine le rayon "de base" ... peut être en fonction de la position du Z au moment ou il rencontre un Fxxx ?

Pour ce qui est de ces réglages, je les avait trouvés sur CNCzone ou sur le forum de ArtSoft, je ne me souviens plus, suite à des expérimentations au début que j'avais mon 4ieme axe ; j'avais trouvé logique de mettre le rayon dans "rotation radius" (avec le Z0 au centre de rotation), mais ça ne le faisais pas.

il n'y a rien de clair dans la doc à ce sujet, et en plus la doc ne montre pas la même inteface et parle de "rotation diameters" et non de radius ...
(Using Mach3 Mill - 6.2.12) ... mais bon, c'est la doc de la version 1.84 de Mach3, qui ne semble jamais avoir été remise à jour depuis !

L'avantage de travailler avec le Z0 au centre, outre le fait que c'est plus pratique pour faire le 0 que de le faire à la surface, c'est que tu n'a pas à changer la valeur de Rotation Radius pour chaque pièce. Si tu tiens quand même à travailler avec le Z au rayon, il semble qu'il soit possible de piloter cette valeur depuis le Gcode à l'aide d'une macro perso pour Mach3 + une modif dans le post pro de la FAO pour écrire la macro en question dans le Gcode.


Il semble que cette option .... ai été supprimée dans Mach4 ... il semble aussi que dans la V3.043.062, ça ne fonctionne que pour l'axe A mais pas pour B et C (un bug). Sur la 3.043.022 ça fonctionne pour tous les axes.

Dans MultiCN je gère directement l'enroulement, il faut définir le bon diamètre sinon le texte est déformé et la vitesse d'usinage n'est pas régulière. C'est une fonction sur les graveurs utilisent beaucoup. Pour le 4 axes, si l'origine est le centre, le Z permet de connaître le rayon et donc de calculer les vitesses d'usinages.

oui, effectivement, je dis des bêtises, la v d'avance n'est pas fixée pour un rayon donné au départ, il suffit de la respecter en fonction du Z en cours.

La gravure d'un cylindre nécessite une position parfaite de la fraise. Du coup j'ai tourné un palpeur pour tangenter ma pièce et programmé un bouton avec un Probe sur X.

Fatalement je suis tombé sur le Dysfonctionnement du G31 de Mach3.
Après de nombreuses lectures dans toutes les langues et de multiples tests infructueux.

J'ai retenu une petite phrase de David DH42 parlant d'axes référencés.
N'ayant pas de fin de courses sur ma machine j'ai déclaré mes homming XYZ d'axes sur les même port et pin que mon Probe.
et miracle cela fonctionne :wink:
