SOUCI INSTALLATION DE EMC2

Bonsoir à tous ,
J'ai installé UBUNTU 10.4 et EMC2 avec un cd live .
UBUNTU marche très bien mais EMC2 se met en erreure dès son ouverture.
J'essaie de m'en sortir seul ,mais la je l'avoue je suis à la ramasse ,complètement dépassé par le problème , d'autant plus que je ne connaissait pas vraiment LINUX avant.

Je ne suis PAS du tout un expert, mais as tu essayé de désinstaller et ré-installer Linux ?
Si tu as téléchargé Linux, as tu vérififié la somme MD5 du CD avant de le graver ?

Bonsoir,

Je ne connais pas EMC2, mais d'apres ton listing, tu a un plantage de LibGL.so. C'est une bibliotheque de gestion graphique (OpenGL).

Il semble y avoir un probleme d'affichage avec EMC2. Regarde du cote du parametrage de l'affichage. Il y a peut-etre un probleme de compatibilite avec ta carte graphique.

EDIT:
Je vient de regarder sur une doc EMC2. Le parametre DISPLAY=axis utilise OpenGL pour gerer l'affichage (D'ailleurs dans ton listing, EMC2 s'arrete apres avoir lancé axis). Essaye de mettre DISPLAY=Tkemc.

J'ai eu aussi ce genre de pb sur de très vieux pc, avec des drivers graphiques incomplets.

Tu pourrais aussi essayer de passer en VESA (pilote générique), qui passe généralement très bien sous EMC2. C'est pas très performant, mais cela permet de se dépêtrer de galères...

Bonjour ,
Merci pour vos réponses ; pour le moment j'ai partiellement résolu mon problème en remplaçant ce PC par un autre d'occase qui ne sera dédié uniquement à cet usage et qui ne sera pas relié à internet , comme ça j'éviterais (peut être ) d'autres désagréments.
Ceci dit , vu que je ne suis pas le meilleur ,et loin de là , en informatique j'aurais sûrement encore besoin d'aide pour configurer EMC2 pour ma machine.
